Two and Three Cents

United States two cent copper, three cent silver and three cent nickels. Two cent coins of copper were minted from 1864 to 1873. Three cent coins are less common, but there were three-cent silver coins, the smallest coin ever minted by the US,  issued from 1851 to 1873. The three cent nickel was minted from 1865 to 1889 and contained no precious metal.
