The face features Prudence holding the light of truth, lighting the way for others to follow. In her left hand Veritas holds two books which represent the scriptures, while her pocket contains a Westward pointing compass in reference to the truths followed by the pioneers who crossed the plains and traveled west to settle the Utah territory.
The reverse is blank and there lies the gold in a very thin layer covered with a polymer.
