Description
1864 $10 Confererate note. The obverse displays a vignette of a team of horses pulling a cannon with three people riding on it and two mounted soldiers riding alongside. The serial number is sharp and unique, 92222. A large “G” in the upper right obverse, Is this series G? Dated February 17, 1864 and titled “Confederate States of America, Ten Dollars, Richmond.” The elaborate reverse is in blue with the denomination in large center text and corner numerals. In excellent condition with sharp corners, straight cuts and no apparent folds.
Although some Confederate bills are rare and valuable, many are quite prolific and are quite affordable to the average collector but in this condition, it will bring a premium.
