Description
Comprised of 75% copper and 25% nickel, the 5 gram 1890 Classic Liberty Head “V” Nickel has an obverse motif of a classic head of Liberty surrounded by stars, with date. The reverse carries a wreath of corn, wheat and cotton framing the denomination reflected in a Roman numeral with the word “CENTS” which was left off the coin in 1883 as well as the motto and USofA. This example has XF details and no problems.
