T-18 Confederate

This 1861 Confederate States Of America $20 Note T-18 was part of the Third Series of Confederate paper money printed under the Act of August 19, 1861. This Act authorized the printing of 100 million dollars in currency. All the denominations, $5 though $100 were dated September 2nd, 1861. These notes were fundable in 8% stock or bonds and were payable six months after the ratification of a peace treaty between the CSA and the United States.
