Obverse; Emblem or coat of arms (1946-1963) of Yugoslavia, circular legend around. Lettering; FEDERATIVNA NARODNA REPUBLIKA JUGOSLAVIJA – 29·XI·1943. (Federal People’s Republic of Yugoslavia).
Reverse; Denomination with seven stars, date on the sides. Lettering; 50 ПАРА 19  53

Two varieties are known.
Reverse: Die A – all details larger, legends in thick script, numerals “5” and “3” close to each other.
                 Die B – all details smaller, legends in thin script, numerals “5” and “3” far from each other
