Question #1: Are the pictures showing the actual coin or note I’ll receive?
A: Yes, you will receive the exact coin or note pictured, unless the stock number is greater than one. If so, you will receive a coin or note of the same type and quality (Year, Mint, Grade, Holder/Label)
Question #2: Has this coin been cleaned?
A: If we believe the coin underwent any sort of cleaning in the past, we will specify in the listing description. Please note, we deal with a large inventory, and in some rare cases we may miss this detail.
If the item title contains “Type Coin” or “Album Filler” and lacks a detailed description or grade opinion, this coin or note is intended to fill album holes, complete type sets, etc.. It has not been closely examined for cleaning or grade, unless specifically stated otherwise. Defects such as distracting scratches, dents, rim defects etc. are noted.
Q: Do you accept offers?
A: We do, on some items. You are welcome to use the “CONTACT US” form to send an offer on an item. All reasonable offers will be considered.
Q: Do you guarantee that a third party grading service will holder a raw coin or note that I purchase from you?
A: Grading is a subjective opinion that is based on knowledge and experience in the industry. With that said, the team at Key Numismatics is confident that our grading is accurately represented with over 20 years of numismatic experience. However, we can not guarantee that the particular grade assigned to an uncertified sales item will be the same received at any of the grading services. We suggest that you review the item, and based on your opinion and knowledge, decide if you want the item to be certified by a third-party grading service.
Q: How is my package shipped?
A: Your items are carefully packaged and fully insured. All packages are shipped via USPS insured mail and are insured for their FULL VALUE. Packages over $500 are sent with signature required. See our SHIPPING POLICY
Q: What is your Return Policy?
A: We want you to be happy with all of your purchases from Key Numismatics. If you’re not happy with an item received from us, we will provide a full refund of the purchase price on items returned to us within the return window time-frame specified in our RETURN POLICY. Any coin or currency removed from its original holder is considered non-returnable. Sealed Mint products or OBW coin rolls must remain sealed and in good condition. Upon receiving the item in its original condition, we will issue a prompt refund.
