This Ten Cent Fractional Note, Fifth Issue F-1265, is a beautiful piece of American currency history. This fractional note was printed during the fifth issue of fractional currency and features a striking design on the obverse and reverse. Printed by the Columbian Banknote Company in Washington DC, a bust of William M Meridith, Secretary of the Treasury under President Zachary Taylor adorns the obverse and to his right is a red Treasury Seal. Measuring approximately 3 1/4 inches by 2 inches, this small but significant note is in uncirculated condition and is sure to be a conversation starter in any numismatist’s display.
All of our ungraded notes are shipped within a hard plastic display casing sold by Guardhouse and may be kept or reused if needed and adds three to five dollars to the cost depending on size. Graded notes are in their own display and are shipped securely with no additional costs.
